This is going to be the last Free Book Friday for a couple of weeks, as I’m off to Perth for SwanCon and won’t have convenient internet access while I’m away. I’m also going to make a change to the FBF schedule when I get back and only post giveaway books on the first Friday of each month (so the next one will be on 6th May). However, I will offer four books on each monthly FBF, as I still want to re-home as many as possible!
Anyway, this week I’m giving away Prime by Poppy Z Brite. It’s the 2005 paperback edition from Three Rivers Press and it’s in excellent condition with no marks or faults.
It weighs in at around 270 grams — so for Australians, that will mean a 500g pre-paid satchel is required if you need it mailed. Overseas readers can check shipping costs to your country with Australia Post.
A reminder of The FBF Rules:
1. If you want the book, please post a comment on my official blog. First in, best dressed. I know this blog is linked or crossposted to Facebook and Twitter and GoodReads and Livejournal, but for simplicity’s sake the giveaway will only apply to comments made directly on the www.kirstynmcdermott.com site.
2. The book itself is free but unfortunately, Australia Post services are not. So, if you’re in Australia, you’ll need to send me a self-addressed prepaid satchel so that I can then send your book to you. If you’re overseas, it will be a bit trickier but I’m sure we can work out a way for you to cover postage. Probably using PayPal. And, of course, if you actually know me and tend to run into me around Melbourne from time to time, I’ll be more than happy to hand your book over in person.
Pick me! I think Prime’s the only Brite book I’m missing in my collection at the moment.
It’s yours but — d’oh! — I just sent off your other two yesterday. Hmm, is Angela Slatter going to be at SwanCon? I could give this to her and she could pass it on to you …
She is, but since I’m going to Swancon as well, it might be easier to pass it on to me 🙂
Ah, beautiful! For some reason I had it in my head that you weren’t going. See you very soon then!
