Free Book Friday: Judgment of Tears

Judgment of Tears by Kim Newman

ETA: This book is now claimed. Subscribe to this blog or follow me on Twitter (@fearofemeralds) for next week’s Free Book Friday post alert.

This week’s free book is Judgment of Tears: Anno Dracula 1959 by Kim Newman. It’s the 1998 hardcover edition from Carroll & Graf (New York) in excellent condition with dustjacket included. There’s a small red “remainder” mark on the bottom near the spine, and some very minor scuffing and bumps to the corners and edges.

It weighs in at around 600 grams — so for Australians, that will mean a 3kg pre-paid satchel is required if you need it mailed. Overseas readers can check shipping costs to your country with Australia Post.

A reminder of The FBF Rules:

1. If you want the book, please post a comment on my official blog. First in, best dressed. I know this blog is linked or crossposted to Facebook and Twitter and GoodReads and Livejournal, but for simplicity’s sake the giveaway will only apply to comments made directly on the www.kirstynmcdermott.com site.

2.  The book itself is free but unfortunately, Australia Post services are not. :-( So, if you’re in Australia, you’ll need to send me a self-addressed prepaid satchel so that I can then send your book to you. If you’re overseas, it will be a bit trickier but I’m sure we can work out a way for you to cover postage. Probably using PayPal. And, of course, if you actually know me and tend to run into me around Melbourne from time to time, I’ll be more than happy to hand your book over in person.

    1. It’s yours! If you haven’t yet sent the satchel for the book from last week, I can fit them both into a 3kg one.

(If you have sent it the first 500g one, I’ll keep it for the next book you claim. :-))

      1. Awesome. I’ve been emersed in Newman’s new Diogenese Club book all evening, and I’ve sulking about the fact that there would be no more books by him to read until May.
