So I’m having a small party for this little book of mine which has just been released into the wild today. Yes, I am doing a happy dance as I type. No, it isn’t easy.

The brilliant and ever-gracious Lucy Sussex will be launching Madigan Mine and I might possibly do a (very) short reading. Scrumptious snacks and beverages will be provided and much merriment will be had by all.*
Justin Ackroyd of Slow Glass Books will be selling copies on the night for a special cash-only price of $30 (the regular RRP of $32.99 will apply to credit card purchases). If you happen to acquire the book before the launch and wish me to sign it — bless your little cotton socks! — then please do bring it along. I’ll be more than happy to scribble on anything you put in front of me.
Naturally, you don’t have to bring or buy a book at all. This launch is simply a celebration of a novel I’m very proud of having written, and even prouder of having published, and I’d love to have a whole bunch of awesome folks along to share it with me. So, make a note of the date and spread the world. Everyone is welcome!
